Educational Qualification & Sports Eligibility
To be eligible for the CRPF Sports Quota recruitment, candidates must meet the post-wise academic requirements along with mandatory sports achievement credentials:
1. Post-wise Academic Qualifications
- Head Constable (General Duty):
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For Ex-Army Personnel: Equivalent qualification issued by the Armed Forces/Army.
- Constable (General Duty):
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
2. Mandatory Sports Eligibility & Achievements
- Participation & Medals: Applicants must possess requisite participation certificates, medals, or ranking credentials from recognized National/International championships, State-level tournaments, All India Inter-University tournaments, or National School Games as specified in the official notification.
- Achievement Timeline: Sports achievements and certificates must fall within the valid stipulated timeline (typically within the last two years prior to the notification date).
Age Limit & Category-wise Relaxation
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years of age.
- Age Relaxations: Upper age limits are relaxable for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC/NCL, and Ex-Servicemen) in accordance with central government guidelines.
Pay Scale
- Head Constable (GD): Pay Matrix Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100/-)
- Constable (GD): Pay Matrix Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100/-)
