- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university with at least one paper in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology at the graduate level; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks in Mathematics at the 12th-standard level.
- Computer Qualification: A computer course certificate of at least six months’ duration from a government-recognised institute is required.
- Language Requirement: English and any one of Assamese, Bengali or Bodo must have been studied as subjects at the HSLC level.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years as on 1 January 2026.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for eligible PwBD candidates and 2 years for eligible ex-servicemen, subject to the notification.
- Employment Exchange: A valid Employment Exchange registration certificate in Assam is required.
- Citizenship: Applicants must satisfy the citizenship conditions specified in the official advertisement.
