SDEF Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Course Enrollment: Must be enrolled in the first year of a full-time regular undergraduate professional degree program in India.
- Eligible Streams:
- Engineering & Technology (B.Tech / B.E.)
- Medical & Allied Sciences (MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm / Pharm.D)
- Architecture (B.Arch) & Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH)
- Academic Marks: Minimum 80% marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 12, alongside valid entrance test scores (such as JEE Main, NEET, or NATA where applicable).
- Income Limit: Total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹12,00,000 (12 Lakhs).
- Additional Conditions: Gap year students or those already in their 2nd year and above are not eligible. Special preference is given to first-generation college students and meritorious female applicants.
